Ever wonder what Christmastime is like in the kingdom of Hyrule with Link, Zelda, and the rest of the gang? Well then let Doug Funnie tell ya! Here is "Christmas in Hyrule," which is our parody of "Christmas in Hollis" by Run DMC. Hope you dig it!

It's December 24th in Hyrule Fields in the dark
And I see a man chilling with a horse in the park
And I push in to be closer, with my heart full of fear
And I look, OMG! It's Gannon here!

I recognize him cuz the man had a beard,
Bomb bag full of goodies,
12 o'clock had neared.
So I pulled my sword out, and the man had gone,
so he must have dropped his wallet right down on the lawn.
I picked the wallet up, and I looked a bit
Just to see if I could buy my girl, Zelda, a gift.

A million dollars chillin, mostly colored rupees
Enough to buy a horse or tempered sword with ease
But I would steal from Gannon, cuz that's alright
So I ran to the shop and spent it all that night.
Back home there are bugs that live in the tree
And there's a letter from Zelda that the gold was to me!

It's Christmastime in the Hyrule Fields
Zelda cooking chicken on the BBQ grill
Goron's cooking bread that's harder than steel
All putting in for delicious meals

Decorated castle with lights so bright
Triforce in the temple, no evil in sight
In the fireplace are the Gorons
Under mistletoe as they eat flower bombs

The rhymes that you hear are the rhymes of Link
The rhymes so funky, make the whole place stink

Rhymes so loud and proud, you hear it
It's Christmastime and we got the spirit

Navi's chillin, the woofs is out
And that's what Christmas is all about.

The time is now, The place is here
And the whole wide world is filled with cheer

My name is Link, Ocarina in hand
And I'm just like the cold Outlands

So open your eye, lend an elfish ear,
We'd like to say "Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!"
